Experts estimate between 50-70 million U.S. adults have some sort of sleep disorder.

Dr. Melissa Coaker, Director of the Sleep Disorders Clinic at the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics tells KNIA/KRLS News women tend to be the most undiagnosed when it comes to sleep disorders. Coaker says women who are the most susceptible to sleep disorders are any women who are having sleep difficulty and not feeling good during the day because of it. She says women tend to suffer more than men because they don’t tend to recognize their own symptoms and usually put other people first which causes them to be undiagnosed.
