Playing a non-conference tilt at the neutral court location of Wells Fargo Arena yesterday afternoon, the Pleasantville Trojan basketball teams garnered a split against Albia, the girls falling 53-30 and the boys winning 56-46.

The girls loss breaks a three game winning streak, and the Trojans end their four game week going 3-1 and have a record of 8-10 on the season.

The Trojan boys were led by a 17 point performance from Gauge Van Haalen, and a 17 point-10 rebound performance from Kyle Amendt. The boys go 3-1 during their tough week, and now bring their record to 12-5 on the season.

Both Pleasantville basketball teams will continue their schedule on Tuesday traveling to Wayne.
