Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) in Knoxville will be offering residents a chance to continue their education to people who might not have a high school diploma.

Academic Advisor for DMACC, Andrea Gotta tells KNIA/KRLS News DMACC will be offering HiSet Classes which are formally known as GED classes. HiSet classes will begin on Tuesday, February 6th and will be held every Tuesday through Friday from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the Marion County Public Health building in Knoxville. The classes are free, but the cost to take the HiSet official test is $50 with grants available to help pay for the test. For more information call 641-840-2026 or 641-791-1730.
