Democratic candidate for governor John Norris made a stop in Knoxville Wednesday.
Norris spoke with residents at the Atlantic and Pacific Pub. Norris, who attended Simpson College in Indianola before attending the University of Iowa College of Law spoke with people about ways he plans to revitalize rural Iowa as governor. Norris tells KNIA/KRLS News he believes it starts with setting a different course and fighting for every Iowan to make sure everyone has an opportunity to succeed. Norris believes there is too much greed in politics today and doesn’t want to see politics for profit in Iowa. On Friday another democratic candidate for governor, Fred Hubbell will be in Knoxville to host a meet and greet at the Knoxville Public Library from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Both candidates are meeting with residents before the Marion County Democratic Caucus which will take place in the Knoxville High School Commons on Monday, February 5th at 7 p.m. The caucus locations for the Marion County Republicans will be Madison Elementary in Pella and Northstar Elementary in Knoxville.
