According to the Marion County Road Department, trucks are out to plow and spread material at curves and intersections.
A tow ban is in place for Marion and Jasper Counties. County road crews will likely work until 8:00 p.m and graders will start at 4:00 a.m. tomorrow on gravel roads, trucks at 7:00 a.m. on the rest.
The Iowa DOT Reports all state highways in the area are partially or completely covered by snow. The snow ordinance for the city of Pella will go into effect today at 6:00pm and will remain in effect until further notice, and Knoxville’s started at 4 p.m. Pleasantville also has their snow ordinance in place.
