Twin Cedars Dollars for Scholars of Bussey has announced they are the beneficiary of $404,000 from the late John “Jack” S. Duffy and his late wife Mary U. Duffy. T

he gift from the Duffy family will be placed in an endowment fund. Income earned will greatly expand the amount of scholarship money available for Twin Cedars graduates. Because of the large gift, scholarships will now be awarded to second, third and fourth year students as well as freshmen. Twin Cedars Dollars for Scholars is a non-profit foundation that supports academic success in the community. Since 1989 $170,000 of scholarship money has been awarded to first and second year post-secondary students.
