For the second time this season, Knoxville and Pella girls will play each other, this time for a spot in the class 4A regional final. 30 wins are shared between the two teams and on paper, this game is very even. The first go-around between the Panthers and Lady Dutch was a Pella win 60-51 in January where Pella came back from an 11 point deficit at halftime. Knoxville Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he had pointed out to his team why they were leading and how they fell behind, and hopes the later does not happen this time. The Lady Dutch are hosting the Class 4A regional semifinal for the fourth consecutive season. Pella has won seven in a row against the Panthers, dating back to 2013, when Knoxville swept the season series when they were both still in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Pella also has a six game winning streak over Knoxville in the postseason dating back to 2002. You can hear the call on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA at 7:45 with Derek Cardwell, or Andrew Schneider on 92.1 KRLS at 7:30 with tip-off at eight due to the Dutch Masters Show Choir Invitational, both games will be streamed live on knikrls.com
