Numerous local athletes were featured on the Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-District Basketball Teams.

Chloe Van Vliet and Emily Holterhaus of the Lady Dutch and Katie Keitges of Knoxville were all selected for the Class 4A Central team. Keitges was 5th in Class 4A in points per game (19.9). Holterhaus was the second best rebounder in 4A (11.5 per game), and Chloe Van Vliet averaged 12.1 points per contest for Pella.

Kelsee Van Haalen of Pleasantville was selected to the Class 2A regional team. The senior eclipsed the 1000 career point mark this year and was 7th in 2A in steals with 105. Regan Freland of PCM was named to the 3A central team, averaging 19.1 points per game, 10th best in Class 3A.

All-State Girls Teams will be announced after the state tournament is finished this week, and All-District recipients are the only players eligible to receive the honor.
