The Knoxville High School Spring Musical, Disney’s “High School Musical,” will debut tomorrow at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center.
The musical, which shares many similarities with the Disney Movie version, is about two high school students who meet on New Year’s Eve and wind up at the same High School where they audition for a musical and get into altercations with the school’s current theater students. Director of the musical Jackie Duffy tells KNIA/KRLS News the mentality all the participants plan to bring this weekend includes bringing energy to connect with the audience and make them feel like they are a part of the show. Showtimes for the musical are 7 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are available now for $8 or the night of the show for $10. To purchase tickets, go to seatyourself.biz.
