The Knoxville Public Library is closed in order to to move to their temporary location during their upcoming renovation and expansion.

The temporary location will be the former East Elementary School building, located at 614 E. Washington St, and the library will reopen on Monday, March 19th. At the new location, the library will use the north portion of the building with fiction books in one classroom, non-fiction books in another classroom, and an area for children’s books. The renovation and expansion project could take as long as 15 months. Volunteers wanting to help clean and move lightweight boxes should contact the Knoxville Library.
