Depth isn’t an issue for the Pella Lady Dutch tennis team has they gear up for action this spring.

Head Coach Josh McCollam tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the team had one of the best seasons in program history last spring, claiming a team state qualifying bid and having the 3rd and 4th place finishers – Brooke Jorgensen and Lily Roozeboom, in the individual state tournament. He says the athletes responsible for that success are back and in tact, which has made it a fun first few weeks of practice.

McCollam is cautioning his athletes about the high expectations, however, and says they have to keep some short term focus when climbing towards the goal of winning a state title. Pella Lady Dutch tennis players kick off the season next Thursday the 29th at Knoxville.
