Pella Christian traveled to a program-first indoor meet in Grinnell. Head Coach Keith Anderson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it was a good showing to start the season.

First place finishes for the girls included Allison Van Gorp in the shot put, the 4 x 200 team of Erica Nikkel, Chloe Morgan, Mary Kate Bandstra, and Morgan Fopma, Emma Kolb in the 800, and Bandstra in the open 200 meters.

Top places for the Eagles boys included the 60 meter sprint medley of Kyle Fynaardt, Noah Treimer, Hayden Vroom, and Nathan De Bruin, and the same group of four in the 4×200 relay. Bryant Agre earned the top time in the 800 meters and Treimer did the same in the 200 meters.

The Pella Christian boy and girls start the outdoor season Tuesday, with the boys at home and the girls heading to Albia.
