The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session Tuesday.
The board will discuss and take possible action on the City of Pleasantville’s funding request for the Jasper Street Project. Pleasantville City Administrator and Police Chief Joe Mrstik tells KNIA/KRLS News this project is vital for all residents of Marion County as it will bring more traffic to Pleasantville and therefore more money and taxes raised for the county.
The board will also discuss the Marion County secondary road construction plan, and discuss participation in the Iowa Heartland Resource Conservation and Development project among other items. The meeting begins at 9am tomorrow in the board of supervisors office.
