The Knoxville Girls Golf Squad is being led by a new coach this season. Barry Smith takes over the program and was greeted with several girls who while play golf, have not had a lot of competition experience. Smith says the recent weather has at times interrupted their plans to get a good look at what the girls can do. Smith says right now, he is concentrating on the short game and how to improve in that area. Smith wants to girls to have confidence in their short game so they can excel on the course. Knoxville debuts this Friday at home at Pine Knolls Golf Course in Knoxville against West Central Valley.
