The Pella Christian girls track and field team had a successful start to their outdoor season as they made the trip to Albia Tuesday.
A score of 69 team points gave the Eagles a 2nd place finish to PCM. Emma Kolb in the 1500, the Sprint Medley Relay team of Erica Nikkel, Chloe Morgan, Morgan Fopma, and Mary Kate Bandstra, as well as the distance medley team of Nikkel, Bandstra, Fopma, and Kolb were all 1st place winners.
Annaliese Admiraal was (2nd) in the 800 meters, Allison Van Gorp had a runner-up toss in the discus, and Nikkel also tied for 2nd in the long jump. The Eagles girls join the boys at the Knoxville Panther Relays this Saturday.
