Pella fell to Winterset in its first match of the 2018 season 1-0 Thursday night.

Head Coach Mark Solomon says it was a strong, physical start for the Dutch, as they played very well and created several chances and shots, but couldn’t find the back of the net. The Huskies matched Pella’s intensity in the second half.

It was tied up until Winterset broke through with a shot that narrowly beat Pella’s Goalkeeper. Their next match is Tuesday vs. Grinnell.
