Melcher-Dallas’s Sam Houston has signed on to play football at Graceland University. Houston was an important part of the Saints turnaround this past fall helping them to a 6-3 season. He accounted for 359 yards on the ground and three touchdowns, and caught 14 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Houston was also a standout on defense, getting 39 tackles with five sacks, and two fumble recoveries. Graceland is an NAIA school and is a member of the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
