The PCM, Pleasantville, and Twin Cedars girls’ track teams were in action last night at Eddyville-Blakesburg.

The Mustangs had another solid showing placing third out of 12 teams with 73 points while North Polk won the event with 103 points. The 4x100m team continues to roll as they took the title in 53.35 seconds. Ashley Miller led the Mustangs once again with a second place finish in the 100m and fourth in the 200m dash. Margo Chipps had a second place showing in the 400m hurdles and was fifth in the 100m hurdles.

Pleasantville placed ninth with 11 points. Kylee Van Haalen-Brown led the Trojans with a third place finish in the discus with a heave of 99’2’’. Kasey Pelzer nabbed fifth place honors in the 100m dash. Twin Cedars did not record a score but were led by Alexis Crozier placing 16thin the discus.
