The sentencing of a Knoxville man charged with six counts of having sexual conduct with two minors under the age of 12 multiple occasions from 2012-2014 was held Thursday morning.

In a plea agreement reached by the prosecution and the defense, 53-year-old Randy Camden pleaded guilty to four of the six counts, agreeing to serve 20 years in prison among other conditions. Multiple victim statements were read, including two that called Camden a “monster,” and another by a family member that stated, “our hell is over, and yours Randy Camden, is just beginning.” Judge Brad McCall rejected the plea agreement, increasing Camden’s sentence to 30 years in prison, because of Camden’s “apparent inability to acknowledge his responsibility, and nature of his offenses.” Camden has 30 days to appeal.
