Habitat for Humanity of Marion County is moving a house from Pella to 510 S 6th St. in Knoxville tomorrow.

Joel Verhoef with Habitat for Humanity tells KNIA/KRLS News it is quite the show moving a house from Pella to Knoxville, and it is a little slow going, but neighbors should expect the house to be put in today and work will continue over the next two days to finish installing the house to code. The Knoxville Police Department tells KNIA/KRLS News they want to warn onlookers who wish to view the house moving or being put in its new location to park as far away as possible and walk towards the location to avoid any accidents, as well as to stay away from the construction crews if you wish to take pictures. The house was donated to Habitat for Humanity from Bank Iowa, who is building a new location at the site where the building was moved from in Pella.
