It was a jam-packed day at The Preserve at Rathbun Lake in Moravia yesterday, as 21 teams competed in the 18-hole boys meet including numerous area schools.

Pella cashed in on a solid day’s work, carding a 323 to place second overall just behind Nevada with a 317. John Oltman and Blaise Winegarner tied for fourth in the 104-player field with a 79. Luke Galeazzi carded an 82, Trey Wood managed an 83, and Ethan Gordon had a non-counting 88.

PCM finished sixth with a 341. Dayton Boell led the Mustangs with an 80 that finished in seventh place. Other scoring included Noah Lanphier with an 81, Andrew Van Ryswyk with 89, Reed Worth with 91, and Elijah Sperfslage with a non-counting 94.

Knoxville was next in line placing eighth with 348 strokes. Tyler Vaske continues to impress with a 76 that tied for runner-up medalist. Cade McDonald had an 86 and Ryan Davis carded a 90.

Pleasantville was also in attendance placing 11th with 384 strokes. Caleb Adreon and Isaac Roe tied for the team lead with a 94. Other scoring included Colt Stewart with a 95 and Mitch Harken pitched in with a 101.
