At the midway point of the 2018 season, the Pella Christian soccer team was able to even their overall record by shutting out Grinnell on Eagle Lane.

Head Coach Mike Buchheit says he’s proud of how the team’s defense has kept them competitive through the toughest part of their schedule, and that hard work is starting to pay off. Laura DeZwarte and Lindsay Breon each scored for the Eagles. The Eagles girls are 4-4 on the season and take a Tulip Time break, much like the rest of Tulip City athletes, until they return to action Tuesday the 8th at DCG.

A rough stretch continued for the Pella Christian boys, as they fell 7-1 to Grinnell last night.

The Eagles will hope to snap a seven-game losing streak against the Mustangs at Eagle Lane next Tuesday.
