While the main celebration doesn’t begin until Thursday, those looking for a preview of Tulip Time activities can take part in the early bird day tomorrow.
Museum tours at Vermeer and Pella Corporation begin at 8 a.m. and continue through the late afternoon. The Pella Historical Village and Historic Tuttle Cabin both open at 9 a.m., and city tours also begin at the time. A quilt show will be held downtown from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m, and the Scholte House is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The evening concludes with the 25th annual Klompen Classic, which begins with a fun run for kids at 6 p.m. and the main race at 7 at the corner of Main and Washington Street.
