The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The board held a public hearing on the transfer of the Pella Memorial Building to the City of Pella, which the Board approves, but wants a plan in place to ensure stability for the building and staff. The board approved special event applications for the courthouse, including a Flag Day ceremony and a marathon Bible reading, approved the purchase of a single axle dump truck, and approved funding for a seal coat street project with the City of Knoxville for 118th Place.
