Coming off their Tulip Time rest, the Eagles soccer teams were unable to find the back of the net against DCG, with the girls falling 2-0 in Grimes and the boys dropping a 5-0 contest.

Boys Head Coach Jake Fancher praised the effort of goalkeeper Jaed Van Maanen, who he says is growing and being consistently challenged by good shots. The Fillies dominated in the girls game, outshooting the Eagles on goal 10-1 and giving themselves nine corner kick opportunities.

The Pella Christian boys hit the road to Carlisle Thursday night, while the girls participate in the North Polk tournament Saturday.
