The Knoxville School District will hold their annual all school band concert tonight.

The concert combines the middle school and high school bands under the direction of Tim McBride and Ben McCartney. The concert marks the beginning of an active week for the Knoxville Community School District music programs, as Tuesday night will be the Pops Show performed by the Concert and Chamber Choirs. They are under the direction of Jackie Duffy and include music picked and performed by individual students. Wednesday night will see performances at Scholarship night, while Thursday will have the middle school choir concert under the direction of Megan Phillips.

Annie Leonard with the Knoxville Music Boosters tells KNIAKRLS News this is a busy time of year and the boosters joke that they have their own personal seats because they are there so much, but watching the students perform never gets old because you can see the progression from the beginning of the year to the end. All performances will take place at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center. The All-Band concert tonight begins at 7pm.
