Marion County Victim Witness Coordinator Jeremy Carlson was honored by Crisis Intervention Services in April in recognition of outstanding service, commitment, and dedication towards victims.
Ed Cummings with Crisis Intervention Services tells KNIA/KRLS News Carlson was selected for the award because he consistently goes above and beyond what is required to serve residents of Marion County, even taking extra time to participate in training to get better at his job. Carlson was one of seven honored at the event from around south-central Iowa. Crisis Intervention Services is a non-profit organization that serves victims of abuse.
