The Pella Public Library is hosting Abraham Lincoln impersonator Kevin Wood this evening.
He is presenting “Lincoln as Story-Teller” at 7 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. In the program, Wood shares about our nation’s history and Lincoln’s personal history by way of stories and jokes. The anecdotes are meant to speak to common and everyday human experiences the audience can relate to. This program is appropriate for adults and for older youth or teenagers 12 years old and up. Lincoln is portrayed by Wood, a professional Lincoln presenter who bears a resemblance to “the Great Emancipator” and is extremely knowledgeable about his life.
