The college softball career of former Twin Cedars Standout Athlete Brittney Roby has come to an end, but not before she left her mark on the University of Northern Iowa program. Roby’s efforts this season earned her first team all Missouri Valley Conference as an outfielder. She led the team with 69 hits, and was first in doubles with 12. Roby was also tops for the Panthers with 11 stolen bases and was one of the best on the team on defense with a 976 fielding percentage. She had the fourth best batting average in the Missouri Valley Conference, her 69 hits led the conference. As good as Roby was on the field, she was just a strong in the classroom as she earned the conference Scholar Athlete first team with a 3.36 grade point average. Northern Iowa finished the season 26-26 and 11-14 in conference play.
