A tough season opener for the Knoxville Baseball Squad last night in Oskaloosa as the Panthers were swept in a double header 8-2 and 8-0 in the nightcap. Errors cost Knoxville dearly in the second inning as the Indians built a 7-1 lead in game one. Ben Wallace threw four innings while Tanner Mason threw three scoreless innings. Wallace and R.J. Roberts were 2/3 at the plate. In the nightcap, Knoxville was limited to four hits but it was just one/nothing Osky in the sixth when the Indians scored four runs. Jacob Zuck reached base three times. The Panthers will take on Winterset Thursday night in their home opener.
