The Pleasantville softball team has wasted no time in getting the bats going in the first week of the 2018 campaign and they will look to keep that momentum tonight when Southeast Warren comes to town.

The Trojans (2-0) have already compiled 23 runs in a pair of games including a 13-1 dismantling over Chariton on Tuesday. Faith Vanderhart was dominant in the circle giving up no earned runs in four innings with two hits and six strikeouts. Freshman Mallory McKinney had herself a day at the plate with three hits and three RBI. Southeast Warren (0-2) is looking for their first win and AJ Dorsey leads them with three hits on the year.

The single game gets started at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Pleasantville High School.
