In a rematch from their season opener, the No. 14 in 1A Pella Christian girls soccer team again locked up against No. 15 in 1A Des Moines Christian in another close contest, ultimately falling in overtime 1-0.

Despite the efforts of goalkeeper Bekah Horstman, the shorthanded Eagles–missing two starters, gave up a goal in the 89th minute. Pella Christian narrowly missed their own chance to win the game late, missing several chances on a late corner kick in regulation.

The Eagles finish the regular season at 8-7 and travel to No. 12 Bondurant-Farrar in the opening round of the regional playoffs Tuesday.
