The Pella boys soccer team is one game away from the Class 2A State Tournament.

The No. 4 ranked Little Dutch host Fairfield today in the substate finals at noon at Pella High School. Pella defeated the Trojans 3-1 in game two of the season, but Head Coach Mark Solomon says both teams have come a long way, and with a trip to state on the line, competition will be intense.

Pella is searching for a 5th trip to the Cownie Sports Complex in Des Moines, with previous state appearances in 2000, 2002 (2nd), 2012, and 2013 (4th).
