Pella Christian went blow-for-blow with Colfax Mingo, but the Tigerhawks landed the final series of haymakers in a 9-6 loss for the Eagles Tuesday.

After taking a 6-3 lead in the top of the 5th inning, Colfax-Mingo collected four hits and took advantage of a pair of Eagles errors to score five of their own and didn’t look back.

Bailey Roose and Sophie Howerzyl each went 2-for-4 and scored a run in the effort. The Eagles continue their search for their first win tonight in a doubleheader against Grinnell.
