Thursdays in Pella returned to the downtown square for the first round of festivities Thursday evening. The theme was “Family Circus.”

Activities included a bike safety rodeo, performances from the Dans Company and the Juggler Peter Show, as well as special activities from numerous local non-profit organizations.

Director of Families First of Pella Allison Kerndt tells KNIA/KRLS News one of the organization’s main goals is to create and sponsor events that bring parents and children together.

The evening concluded with the first performance of the City Band.

The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio is broadcasting from every Thursdays in Pella this summer.
