Peoples Bank donated their previous building to the Pleasantville Clinic, run by Knoxville Hospital and Clinics, with a Passing of the Key presentation and open house celebration Thursday evening.

The building was donated by Peoples Bank to help with an expansion of the Pleasantville Clinic, which currently sits next door to the property. Peoples Bank President Kevin Halterman tells KNIA/KRLS News gifting Knoxville Hospital and Clinics the building was a perfect fit because an expansion of the clinic was needed, and the vision of Knoxville Hospital and Clinics mirrors the vision of Peoples Bank, serving the community. CEO of Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Kevin Kincaid tells KNIA/KRLS News that this building serves a much needed purpose because expansion was just not possible due to the location they were at, so now the clinic can serve the growing community of Pleasantville. Peoples Bank moved to a new location at 802 W Jasper St.
