Twin Cedars broke open a tight game in the top of the eighth and defeated Melcher-Dallas in softball last night 10-5 in eight innings. The game was tied at five with Twin Cedars batting in the top of the eighth when Ali Mockenhaupt singled, scoring two runs, three more runs came across to make the final tally. Grace Bailey earned the win for Twin Cedars going eight innings, allowing five runs on 13 hits, striking out four and walking one. Emilie Krpan took the loss for the Saints also going eight innings, allowing ten hits and ten runs while striking out nine.
