For the second night in a row, the Lady Dutch softball bats were alive and churning in a 15-5, 6 inning win over Grinnell Wednesday.

Pella’s offense accounted for 18 hits and took full advantage of five Tigers’ errors. Maddie Parks continues to sizzle on offense for Pella, scoring four times on three hits and earned the win in the circle. Destiny Brown was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two driven in, and Elly Cairney went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Courtney Thompson, Sidney Van Vark, and Kinzi Van Wyk also each had two hits for the girls in green. Pella improves to 9-8 and are off until a doubleheader hosting Pella Christian Friday, with the nightcap live on 92.1 KRLS.

Pella baseball lost 9-2 to No. 7 Grinnell at the diamond next door. Noah Van Vark was 3-for-4. The Little Dutch drop to 7-6, and host Gilbert for a single game this evening.
