Certified child passenger safety technician Chelsea Kingery is hosting a free car seat installation safety check clinic tomorrow.

Kingery tells KNIA/KRLS News that there was so much she didn’t know about safety when she was a young parent, and when she looks back on photos from that time it makes her cringe at how unsafe her child was in her car. Kingery also said that misuse can be as high as 90%, so her mission is to make sure as many people know the proper techniques as possible.

The car seat check clinic will be in the city parking lot next to the Knoxville Police Department and the Knoxville Fire Department, and run from 3-5pm. Hear more about the car seat safety clinic on today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
