The Knoxville Baseball Squad beat Eddyville-Blakesburg last night 9-6. Rylan Cox got the win pitching four innings allowing three hits and walking none. Kaleb Streigle closed the game allowing two runs on two hits and fanning three E-B-F batters. Colton Jones had two R-B-Is, Jacob Zuck had two R-B-Is and R.J. Roberts had an R-B-I. It was a big win for the Panthers as the South Central Conference is now effectively a two horse race between Knoxville and Centerville. Coach Matt Miller told KNIA/KRLS Sports games like last night and previous games this week show the younger players how to take advantage of the situation. The Panthers are off until Monday when they have a big double header with Centerville.
