The Iowa Supreme Court has ruled on the case heard at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center in April, Alan Andersen, et al. v. Sohit Khanna, et al, and vacated the appeals court decision in favor of the defendant, Dr. Khanna.

The case had to do with informed consent, and whether or not a doctor should inform a patient if they have never performed an operation before, and the Supreme Court affirmed that Dr. Khanna was not negligent in his duties. The Supreme Court also ruled the court erred when it removed several claims from the evidence of the case, sending the case back for trial in district court. To see the full decision, click below.
