Both Melcher-Dallas and Centerville were strong on the rubber on Wednesday, but Centerville was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Melcher-Dallas in softball action 3-1. The Redettes scored all of their runs in the fourth inning. The Saints were also hampered with four costly errors in the game. Emilie Krpan went the distance taking the loss. She surrendered three runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking one. The Saints get back into Bluegrass Conference play tonight traveling to Seymour.
