A Pella man received prison time for violating his probation in relation to a case in which he intimidated and stalked a person in the community.

Jason Hol, 35, was sentenced to 15 years of prison for violating probation after he pled guilty to a reduced charge of violating a no contact order in March, as well as possession of meth. He also received five years of jail plus another year to run concurrently with the probation violation sentence.

The probation and suspended sentence was given to Hol after he pled guilty to 2nd degree burglary and stalking last October for an incident in August 2017 in which he knocked on the door of the same victim’s apartment and broke a window by kicking it in as the person inside tried to hide from him.

According to court records, Hol is also accused of sending threatening messages to a victim he has a no-contact order with by creating a fake Facebook account and sending them to the victim’s real account earlier this year. He also received an extended no-contact order with the victim for an additional five years.
