The results weren’t exactly what Jeanne Czipri was hoping for on the floor during her first year as Central College volleyball coach last fall, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a successful season.
They finished 9-24, and were just 1-7 in the Iowa Conference.  Joining us last night on the Central College Radio Coaches Corner on KRLS, Czipri says that she feels they laid the foundation in place to future success with a focus on their culture.
“I think we did a really good job of kind of redefining our culture.  That was a big part of this year. We talked a lot about it in preseason, addressed it at the beginning and end of every practice.  We praised people when they put what we expect into action, and called them out when they weren’t.”
