The Pleasantville baseball team finished the regular season on a high note with a 13-3 non-conference win over BGM.
It didn’t take long for the Trojans to put up a crooked number, as Pleasantville plated eight runs in the first inning to take a commanding early lead. They tacked on two more in the third and three in the fourth to close out the game in five innings. Grant Fouch led the offense going 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored. Quintin Berglund added a pair of hits and four runs knocked in. Fouch got the win on the bump going four innings of five hit ball and three runs allowed.
The Trojans close the regular season at 23-11. They will open district play on Tuesday playing the winner between PCM and Colfax-Mingo.
