Pella Christian begins their push for Principal Park and the state tournament today when they make the two-hour trek to Mount Ayr to take on Clarke.
The Eagles are 8-19 and finished 8th in the Little Hawkeye Conference, while the Indians are 4-16 and placed in 6th in the South Central Conference. First pitch from Mount Ayr is at 5 p.m., with pregame beginning at 4:45 p.m. on 92.1 KRLS. Andrew Schneider and Wynne Veenstra will call the action.
The Lady Dutch softball team will look to repeat an early season result when they travel to No. 11 Ballard tonight. Pella is seeking to defuse the Bombers the same way they did in a 5-1 season opening win on May 21st.
