The class 3A baseball squads get their turn to start district play tonight. Knoxville drew a number two seed in the Grinnell district and will play Dallas Center-Grimes. The Panthers come in on quite possibly one of the hottest teams in class 3A winning their last nine and 15 of their last 16 games to sport at 29-11 record. The Mustangs have had a difficult season going 8-21 and losing ten of their final 12 games. That said, Knoxville Coach Matt Miller tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it will be important to keep the top of D-C-G’s line up off balance.
