It was quite a turnaround season for the Twin Cedars Softball Squad in 2018. The Sabers won six games combined the last two seasons, were victorious 13 times this season. What Coach Zack Dunkin tells KNIA/KRLS Sports now needs to happen is his team needs to start winning close games. The Sabers were 2-4 in games decided by one or two runs including the Sabers season-ending 5-4 loss to Lenox in the second round of the class 1A regional. The Sabers finished the season 13-and-13 and fourth in the Bluegrass Conference.
