The following statement has been issued by Vermeer Human Resources:
“Vermeer operations will be closed until first shift Monday, July 23. Small teams are working this weekend to execute critical activities and will be notified by their managers if they should report.
Our intent is to communicate daily updates regarding work schedules based on the prior day’s progress.
Team members on all shifts in Corporate, Plant 1, Plant 2 (front office and production), Plant 3 (front office and production) and the Parts Center should report to work Monday, July 23, beginning with first shift.
Team members on all shifts in front office and production of Plants 4, 5, 6 and 7, ACS/Test, Vermeer Underground Technologies and the Global Pavilion should not report to work Monday, July 23 unless contacted by your manager.”
There has not been any statement made to KNIA/KRLS in regards to when employees are able to begin gathering belongings or vehicles from the site as of 7:45 p.m. Friday evening. Crews have been cleaning damage and debris from the parking lots for the majority of the day.
