The Heart of Iowa Conference recently released its baseball all-conference list and four PCM players were recognized.
Preston Van Wyk headlined the selections for the Mustangs being named to the first team. No one in the league had more hits than the junior with 44 on the season and a .489 batting average was second. He also showed off his speed on the base paths with 22 steals out of 25 attempts.
Noah Henkenius was named to the second team. The senior carried the load on the mound with a 3.58 ERA in 58 2/3 innings of work. He also knocked in 16 runs with a .298 batting average.
Reed Worth and Dane Owens were recognized as honorable mention. Worth was successful on all 14 stolen base attempts and Owens had 10 RBI.
The Mustangs finished 12-14 on the season.
